Beautiful park. I'm not from Sarnia and was so impressed with Canatara park! Also this animal farm is so cute with these little mini barns and pastures surrounded by a moat with lots of ducks, surrounded by trees. So scenic
Super friendly animals (besides the invading Canadian geese of course). The guinea pigs ran up to my toddler. So did the one horse and goat. So many beautiful animals. The Dexter cow, alpacas, the sheep, the angora rabbit, the horses and donkeys.
Absolutely loved this place. Make sure to check their website for hours because their opening time is limited. Also read the signs and don't feed the pigs because that has apparently caused one to die from impaction.
Entry is by donation. Donations can be made directly to Sarnia Humane Society who takes care of this animal farm There is a donation box at the gate for Seaway Kiwanis Club but if you want the money to directly go to the animals, the humane society would make sense.

Beautiful place to visit in Sarnia. It was winters not summer but still I loved and enjoyed this place. It was great to see different animals and birds, like bunnies, cats, peacocks, ducks, donkeys, sheep, pigs, horses and and many more. The lady there who was taking care of the farm was super nice and friendly, She helped us with our questions Thank you and keep doing the nice work

Really cute park and set up with lots of animals to see. Unlike other petting zoos, it didn't smell nearly as bad as expected. The parking is close by and there are signs that you can bring your vegetables to feed the animals. Plus it's literally a couple of minutes drive from the beach and it's free

My son loved visiting there. It’s fun watching the animals. You can find llama, sheep, goat, peafowl, peacock, chickens, pigs, rabbits, ponies. There is a kids train as well, unfortunately it was closed when we visited.

We were at the park for the Revelree Music Festival and were absolutely blown away by the beauty of Canatara Park, and especially the Children’s Animal Farm! The animals looked happy and well cared for. What a lovely place to visit. We will be back.

A nice, well kept free animal farm (donations are accepted and should be encouraged). It's a nice walk through to see some common farm animals that are well cared for. Lots of photo opportunities to capture your memories.
