The nicest people! We were looking for a place near Sicamous with water access to set up our sauna and cold plunge. They allowed us to set up right by the river and it was the perfect location! They also had top notch wood available which was very convenient and a super friendly pup who played with ours whenever we came to the property. We so hope to be able to come back in the summer to camp 🙂

This was the first time we’ve ever stayed here, there was 6 of us (2 adults, 2 teens, 2 older kids) we rented the puma trailer that sleeps ten.
First this place is pretty reasonably priced considering the location and time of year. The camper was in the forest river front, although the river isn’t accessible by the camp sites there is easy, quick access very close by.
The camper fit us perfectly, and had everything we needed for the 3 nights we were there. It’s the coolest spot I’ve ever camped before legit in the trees and is so peaceful and beautiful.
You can’t park close to camper however there are carts to help lug your things and it’s really not far at all….
The owners were super cool, came and checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed. And when we needed anything they were just a short text away. We had a little issue on our last night with power (or own doing), and they came to fix it and we were back up and running.
We did the river float, absolutely a must do when staying here. And if you don’t stay here a definitely do if you stay in the area…. We only did it to the half way mark (kids were over it). It took us 2 hours. And wellllll worth it. Next time we most definitely will be doing the whole float. We had our own floating devices however they have many different things you can rent from them all very reasonable priced. Again 100% worth it.
All in all it was super fun and amazing. We will be returning next year! Thank you so much for making this trip memorable for us.

We hired kayaks from here and had a wonderful day on the river. Mel and her husband are super friendly and Mel was very responsive and accommodating when arranging the booking. Having an optional pick up at the end of the paddle was a great option for us as we are visiting from Scotland and our rental car can't take kayaks. The river was very peaceful, we brought our cooler and a picnic and even saw an osprey catch a fish! Low key family owned and run business who we were much happier renting from than a big corporate operation. Thanks guys!

I can't recommend Hanging Loose in Sicamous enough! My partner and I were on our way to move to Prince George when we had some unexpected mechanical issues with our vehicle. We were lucky enough to stumble upon this beautiful campsite, and the owners were kind enough to let us stay the night and even let us have late check-out the next day while our vehicle was being fixed.
The owners were incredibly kind to us during our stay, and they went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. They even recommended a nearby waterfall hike for us to check out while we waited for our vehicle to be fixed, which ended up being a highlight of our trip.
The location of the campsite is simply stunning - right beside the river, with beautiful views all around. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, and we had a fantastic time exploring the area.
If you're looking for a peaceful and scenic camping experience with amazing hosts who go the extra mile to ensure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable, then Hanging Loose in Sicamous is the perfect place for you. We will definitely be back!

Stayed one night with our camping trailer. There is no shade and NO HOOKUPS. However, they charge you full RV hookup prices of $55 per night. The gravel pads were level. The cold outdoor shower was actually refreshing.

So no service one portapotty no hot water in shower,no grass to speak of or shade in rv sites. Only redeeming thing was the river behind the campsite but they charge 5 to take your own paddle board to river. We would not and could not recommend this place. So many things could be improved upon. One more thing beware the ladder going to dock its an accident waiting to happen. Waiver or no waiver. Not up to code in any way.

Truly an amazing Rving experience! Nestled in the cedars, and the river close by gave us the perfect setting for relaxation and care free days. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. We not only extended our stay but will definitely be back again next year! Keep up the great work!
