I love Northwest Trek. It's amazing for the entire family, locals and visitors to the area alike I ended up buying the years pass every admission to the park gets you a ride on the tram tour. The new electric trams are quiet there are maybe 10 people to a car our guide was knowledgeable and very nice this is a wonderful organization to support they do a lot with the animals and it's worth every penny to go. They recently had a baby American Bison AKA Buffalo born there and we were able to see it! Also when people visit if needed they can rent strollers, wheelchairs, and even electric chairs. It's nicely paved with a few steep areas that are very clearly marked. Making this as I said above completely family-friendly.

Great experience with my dad and 16 year old son. Plenty of parking. It took about an hour and half to walk and enjoy the exhibits. Park is well maintained and the animals were mostly easy to see. The tram ride is more then 30 minutes. It was great to have the tour guide point you in the right direction to see all the animals. There is a wonderful variety of animals. It's a great place for all age groups.

Over all was an amazing experience.
Kids had a fun time. Animal enclosures are amazing and we saw most of the animals.
The kids trek zone (playground) was the highlight for the kids.
I enjoyed the trails that are available for an easy hike.
I recommend visiting and enjoying yourself.

Absolutely beautiful here. Love that the animals get to exist in nature. The new electric trams are very nice compared to the old ones. Prices on food were definitely ridiculous. I recommend bringing your own water bottle to fill at one of the fountains because they charge $5 for a can of water.

We went on a quiet day and enjoyed ourselves! We also opted for the guided car tour, which was so lovely to stay inside your car whilst travelling around the 400 acre property. The driving ticket also included entry to the wildlife park which pretty much every animal was visible (except the cougar). For a tourist this is the perfect opportunity to see all of the wildlife native to the PNW and Canada. excellent visit.

Was nice as we hadn't been in more than a decade. There are paths you can walk on that aren't paved ones and enjoy the quiet and nature. Staff was cheerful, nice, and helpful. We rented ecv's as can't walk the whole place these days, but it was fun to see a variety of animals. Some were not out, but that's life.

Truly a wonderful place to visit. Definitely a mission we can get behind. The tram feature is very fun and included with general admission. I'm more of a live in the moment and experience things kind of person, so I didn't really like that the driver talked the whole 45 minutes. But that's just me ☺️
My very favorite part was quietly watching the grizzly bears have their play time.

Other than having a new electric tram. This visit was a complete disappointment. I came here before in 2013 and it was an ok visit. It was a where are the animals? The Tram ride back in 2013 I saw a Moose, some big horn sheep, and a bunch of mountain goats. There were some deer and herd of bison. The staff says hiding but going from site to site Northwest Trek has become as lackluster like Point Defiance Zoo. Just becoming a place not worth the visit due to the drive and ticket price.
