This place is amazing whenever I go! I love to support this mall exotic zoo and their mission to inform the public and save animals. I like that it is never crowded and they have animals you don't see anywhere else. We enjoyed the peacocks that run lose, and watching the zebras grazing, I enjoy watching the lion get feed and the grizzly play!

2 stars because i feel bad. The animals look so sad. Their enclosures are way too small and not kept up with well. There was either no water or very dirty water in the enclosures. The petting zoo was small and you couldn’t actually pet anything. The splash pad was decent but the water goes from one spot to the next so you have to chase it. I guess for the area it’s something different to do and hopefully if they ever get funding they can majorly upgrade the quality of life for their inhabitants.

It's what you can expect from a small town zoo. I have been to better in the Chicago area. They really need to work on the bathrooms. No toilet paper and I saw a small shot bottle in one of the stalls... There was a guy out manicuring the parking lot but some of the vegetation inside the zoo needed some looking after. Donkey poo for days... Animals seem to be well cared for and don't seem bored, bear has a lot of space.

We got the annual membership this year and did not regret it. In addition to the animals, Dino Dig, playground, and splash pad we enjoyed the special events like the Easter Egg Hunt, watching the chimps paint, and the carnival. We love the peacocks that wander on the sidewalks. Parking is convenient, there are plenty of benches, and the staff is very friendly.

SO MUCH FUN!!! we spent a couple hours here, and would have spent more if the splash park was open. Zoo was clean, and staff were friendly. $11 for adults and $5 for a toddler. Wasn't crowded and all the animals were active and clearly well cared for. We will definitely be returning!

My son and I came in from Colorado to visit. This zoo is very small, but I feel like that’s expected. Since it’s in the middle of winter we were one of the only guests there. The animals……. I don’t even know where to start. These animals first of all are ridiculously photogenic!! I don’t think I’ve ever been to a zoo where you can really see these animals’ personalities. The hyenas though……. By far our favorites!!! They sure did love my son! I actually absolutely love this zoo and especially their animals!!!!
