It is an amazing farm with very welcoming people. All the products are amazing, especially the bison meat, which tastes great. As a Brazilian BBQ fan, I recommend it but pay attention to your clock since it is a familiar place, not a 24/7 butcher shop.

This was our first visit to Thunder Ridge. It's not just a bison farm, they have other animals as well. You can get other ethically sourced local goods-free range eggs, maple syrup, honey to name a few. The family that owns this farm are so kind and friendly that they let my urban children have a tour and take photos for a school project and gave them a lesson about how different parts of the animal could be used as tools as well as food. We will definitely be back to visit soon.

We have purchased Jerky and Bison steaks, Bison stewing chunks, and most recently a Bison Prime Rib Roast. The flavour and tenderness of the meat has always been exceptional. This last purchase a 5.5 lb Prime rib roast was for the boys to take to their long weekend and have over a fire. Not only did the owner make a special effort to open his store for me to run over and get the roast, he did it willingly and graciously. He also explained the difficulty they have in getting simple things done and all the extra effort it takes to run such a clean and busy quality business. I appreciate everything he did for the guys to have the bison they wanted, his advice on how to cook it over the open fire and the extra goodies he sent for the guys!! Please if your ever looking for Bison, try them, you will be glad you did!

Amazing bison steaks! I picked up some ribeye bison steaks and WOW I am impressed on how great they taste. Fresh meat that was packaged the same week I picked it up and had such strong flavours. Make sure you cook it rare and you will be extremely happy. Thanks Thunder Ridge!

The customer service I received today at Thunder Ridge was wonderful.
I was able to purchase a couple of their steaks at the farm and was thankful for the knowledge on how to cook and prepare. The steaks had hardly any fat on them and melted in our mouths bursting with flavour!
Definitely already recommended to friends and family and we will purchase again.

it's not ok to not keep your hours updated. everyone is entitled to have something up for the weekend, but when u r closed and not update your website with a note and/or your Google account, that's not ok. driving 70 mins for nothing is not fun, especially with the price of gas and a bad back.
